The "University of Soccer" Elite Camps

Our Residential Elite training program mirrors training programs designed for college players and professional teams.

College and International Coaches will be on hand to pass on their experience and expertise to instruct players in the Elite Program.  The Elite training offers education in advanced aspects of soccer to benefit experienced players.  The students will be involved in a series of sessions emphasizing individual skills and overall vision and awareness.  Elite campers will enjoy training with the coach and players of the PDL Cocoa Expos. This high level training will allow the Elite Campers at the University of Soccer to see what it is like to train with the Pros. Female Elite Campers will have the same opportunity as they will practice with Head Coach James Kryger and the W League Cocoa Expos. This tremendous opportunity will be a highly challenging but FUN experience for the U of S Elite Campers as they will see first hand what it takes to be at the top level of soccer in the U.S.A.

Once the individual skills have been perfected, the coach will look at a players most effective role within a team through competitive practices.  Finally a player will be evaluated on their most effective role within modern styles of soccer during team training.

The ultimate goal of our Soccer Institute is to show students how to reach "the next level" of soccer.  A few ways in which we will accomplish are as follows:

• Setting goals and a path to achieve them
• Self teaching and motivation
• Practice correct techniques/ tactics
• Small sided games
• Analyzing and capitalizing on goal scoring opportunities

College Coaching Seminars
Each week a college coach meets with all campers who are interested in playing soccer at the College level.  The coach explains the recruiting process as well as academic standards and procedures.  Campers receive first hand information and can ask questions.  This is an excellent opportunity for players looking to advance.
