The Athletic Department Staff would like to thank everybody that came to the Cocoa Expo Sports Center during the 2005/2006 season to participate in Tournaments, Camps, Team Training or to support our Women’s League and PDL Team.

We look forward to a new and exciting soccer season 2006/2007 and hope to welcome you back to the Cocoa Expo Sports Center.

This Newsletter includes all of our upcoming soccer events for the fall, winter and 2007 spring season. We are sure that we can offer you a program that brings you as a player or your team to the next level.

This year’s college event will be presented by Jako, GotSoccer.com and Sports Source.  For 15 years this event has provided a great meeting point for players, families, college and professional coaches and soccer fans alike to present and watch highly-competitive soccer. The tournament dates for the Cocoa Expo Cup and College Showcase are always December 27 - 30, 2006.  This is an ideal time, just after the holidays, to bring your team to sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida for four great days of competition, college preparation and fun. The Deadline for the 16^th Annual Cocoa Expo Cup is November 1st, 2006!

The 9^th Annual Columbus Cup, October 7-8, 2006 is coming soon! 
The Cocoa Expo Columbus Cup is a competitive, 2-day Fall tournament of high-quality games and well organized fun under Florida’s sun.  We guarantee 3 games with all games played onsite at the Cocoa Expo Sports Center.  The 9^th Annual Columbus Cup will be held October 7-8, 2006 at the Cocoa Expo Sports Center in Cocoa, Florida.

The 3rd Annual America's Cup is Cocoa Expo's second Winter tournament.  This 2-day tournament gives teams an opportunity to kick off the new year on the field. The tournament format gives the teams two pool games on Saturday and one on Sunday morning.  Finals will be played Sunday afternoon.

You are cordially invited to join us for our College-Style Soccer Combine held December 26, 2006 at the Cocoa Expo Soccer Complex in Florida, hosted by Cocoa Expo in conjunction with the 2006 Cocoa Expo Cup & Showcase.    The combine will start at 3:00pm and conclude at 6:30pm followed by a college-planning workshop.  

We will have NAIA college coaches participating in the combine and others observing.   So, if you are serious about playing college soccer, then come meet the coaches and find your roster spot! We wish you and your teams continued success on and off the field!  A portion of all player fees will be donated to the Walt Chyzowych Memorial Fund – the WCMF provides scholarships to scholar athletes and coaches.
