Q: Do my two $750.00 deposits go towards my total package invoice or are they an additional entry fee?
A: No, they are not an additional fee. Your first and second deposits are applied to your total package balance.

Q: What if I do not know the exact number of players that I will be bringing when I register? Can I change this number at a later date?
A: Yes. You may add or delete players from your roster at any time prior to 30 days before your scheduled arrival date without any penalty. Any changes that are made inside of 30 days will be subject to cancellation fees (see your official housing contract for fees and schedule). It is very important that the coach or team representative read and understand the housing contract prior to signing it and communicates all changes to our housing director as they occur.

Q: Can I bring both my JV and varsity teams to Cocoa Expo?
A: Yes. Cocoa Expo will create a practice and game schedule for both teams and the best part is that since we do not charge an entry fee you do not have to pay any extra fees to bring both teams.

Q: How far is the beach from the Cocoa Expo Sports Center?
A: Beautiful Cocoa Beach is located just 10 short miles from our complex. Teams can visit the Cocoa Beach Pier and of course, the world famous Ron Jon Surf Shop.

Q: Can I upgrade my teams participant package and stay at the beach?
A: Yes.
Cocoa Expo offers beach packages. For more information about the ultimate beach and
baseball package contact our housing office at 321-639-EXPO (3976), ext. 33.

Q: If I choose to purchase a two or one meal daily plan what meals are included?
A: With our flexible meal plan options you can choose to eat three, two or one meal a day. If you choose the two or one meal daily option it is your choice as to which meals you wish to eat each day. For example, if you choose a 6 night, two meal plan you would be entitled to 12  meals during your stay. You might want to eat 3 meals one day and only one the next…it is totally up to you to choose what meals you eat.

Q: What are the meal times?
A:  Breakfast is served from 6:00am – 9:00am, lunch from 11:00am – 2:30pm and dinner from 4:30pm – 7:30pm.

Q: What if I choose the three meal a day plan and then realize that due to scheduling I will not be able to make a meal time?
A: Not a problem, Cocoa Expo will prepare a boxed meal for you. All teams will be provided with a boxed meal request form as part of their check-in packet. Simply complete the form and turn it in at least a day in advance of when you want the meal and we will prepare a meal-to-go for your team.

Q: What equipment does Cocoa Expo provide?
A: Cocoa Expo provides JUGS Pitching Machines in the batting tunnels and pitching machine balls. In addition, we provide roll cages, L-screens and infield screens for field practice sessions. Cocoa Expo also provides the baseballs for all games. Teams must provide their own catching gear, gloves, bats, practice balls, helmets, hitting tees, etc.

Q: How many games and practices can I get while I am there?
A: Each coach will be sent a schedule request form to fill out. On this form you can request games, full field practices and batting tunnel time.  We do our very best to make sure that our teams get all of the time they request
however we can not guarantee number of games.  It is very important for high school teams to check with their state associations to make sure that they are in compliance with their state rules concerning games/scrimmages.

Q: Who needs to purchase a Cocoa Expo participant package?
A: All players, coaches (with the exception of the free coaches for every 16 players), trainers and team staff need to purchase one of our package options in order to participate. All teams will be required to provide a rooming list to Cocoa Expo prior to their arrival and this list will be checked to verify the total number of participants.

Q: Does Cocoa Expo have a place for our team to store our equipment so we don’t have to take it back and forth to the hotel.
A: No. Due to the large number of teams participating in our spring program, there will not be any storage space available.

Q: Will shower facilities be available for my team on our last day at the Cocoa Expo after we practice or play?
A: Yes. Cocoa Expo has locker room and shower facilities available.  Teams must reserve
these facilities in advance and all reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
